Georg is a painter and printmaker whose work has captured the hearts of animal lovers all over the country. Georg was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on January 2, 1953. He studied art for an unreasonable amount of time at Nichols State University. Afterward, he spent years un-learning what he was taught and learning about art for himself. He stressed in the classes that he gave that art cannot be handed over by teachers, but must be found by the students themselves. After a tour in the army and a few years of roaming around the country doing odd jobs, Georg returned to the New Orleans area to raise his two daughters and concentrate on a career in fine arts. Georg needs 3 or more photos and a personality description of your pet(s). If there is a background color you want or don’t want please let us know. The portraits take approximately 9 weeks to produce. We need half down to start and the balance upon completion. We take all forms of payment. Please don’t forget to send us your shipping address and phone number.
One Animal:
8×10 – $300 head and shoulder only
11×14 – $450 head and shoulders only
16×20 – $575 head and shoulders or $725 for full body
24×30 – $825 head and shoulders or $1025 for full body
Two animals in one portrait:
16×20 – $875 head and shoulders or $1100 for full body
24×30 – $1150 head and shoulders or $1450 for full body
Shipping is $25 – $45 depending on the size of the portrait.
